Sara och hennes liv

I lördags skaffade jag mig Nickelbacks senaste skiva Dark Horse.
Det svänger ju utan tvekan, men jag undrar vad som hänt med texterna.
Vissa låtar är lite djupare och tänkvärda, som Just To Get High som handlar om en vän som går ned sig i drogmissbruk, medan andra mest bara handlar om sprit eller sex. Det känns som om skivan är uppdelad i två delar. På ena delen är bandet samma som alltid, och på den andra delen så är de... lite skitigare liksom. Sex drugs and rock and roll till 100%
Det känns lite konstigt, för jag känner inte igen Nickeback i såna texter.
Musiken är den samma, man dras liksom med och vill bara sjunga sjunga sjunga, men jag är inte precis den som sjunger saker som:

Jag känner mig liksom inte som mig själv när jag lyssnar på de här låtarna. Det svänger och de är skitbra. Men texterna... det blir liksom helt fel i mitt lilla pryda huvud. Kortslutning nästan.

Av de låtarna som i alla fall jag tycker har en djupare mening är supa-knulla-röka på, så är det bara Just To get High som är snabbare och får en att bara vilja sjunga för full hals. De andra är rätt så lugna.
Inte för att det är något fel med det, men nuförtiden blir jag bara rastlös av såna låtar. Jag vill ha tunga riff och sväng liksom. Och de låtarna ligger på... den mörka sidan av skivan kan man väl kanske säga...
Och de låtarna som satt sig mest i mitt huvud är S.E.X, Something In Your Mouth, Next Go Round och Just To get High.
Det känns ju riktigt bra.
